Summary:
FReader or Efficient Reader by ReadingSoft.com has very little information on their website. A company that offers a software product should have good information on their website. They do have a free demo download so it is easy to try it.

Different reading modes provide reading pace practice sessions. The program also teaches principles of efficient reading and has exercises to apply those principles.
FReader includes exercises to expand visual span by focusing on multiple words at once. In addition reading tests are performed at the beginning of each session and finally the results for each kind of exercise or test are logged. Each user can then track his progression. They promote skimming which the higher end systems say is ineffective and I tend to agree.
